Why Does Healism.com Exist?

Our goal...our mission statement is to educate the world about medical tourism.  We realize that there are many advantages to dental and medical tourism, but we also recognize that traveling to a foreign country and placing your health in the hands of an unfamiliar doctor can be intimidating for many.  This is why we have designed this Web site as an information portal where you can research facilities, find hotels, book flights, learn about new cultures, share experiences, and ask questions.   

Medical and dental tourism are not necessarily for everyone, but we thoroughly encourage you to review all of the options out there before making a final decision.  You might find that taking a short vacation to India, Thailand, or any of the other exciting destinations featured throughout this site, will not only bring you personal enjoyment, but it might also make you a healthier, happier person.
